Raymond Mirra Jr. has been an industrial salesperson for over eighteen years now. He has always loved his work, as he is constantly able to see the results of his work as soon as possible. He also enjoys the sales aspect of being a wholesale representative.

Raymond Mirra Jr is an American race car driver. He was born on October 6, 1952, in Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. He is a son of racing legend Raymond Mirra. He graduated from the Lehigh University in Pennsylvania with a degree in business administration but he has always been passionate about racing and motors since childhood. He has started his racing career when he was 18 years old. Raymond Mirra, Jr's grandfather was a state senator in the Ohio Senate and his great-grandfather was a congressman. His brother Raymond M. Mirra, III and cousin Ralph J. Perk both have served in Columbus' city council.

In 1932 Raymond Mirra Jr was born to immigrant parents in the small town of Forest Park, Ohio. He grew up to be a star basketball player at his high school as well as a successful student. During World War 2 he enlisted in the United States Army before being honorably discharged in 1943. After the war Mirra worked several low paying jobs including working part time in a funeral home. In 1949 he met his wife who encouraged him to go back to school and enroll in the University of Cincinnati where he got his diploma in mortuary science. Along with his newly earned diploma Mirra also gained a wife who he would marry in 1950. They would have two children together and remain married for over 55 years until Mirra's death .
